Born and raised in Denver, Shayla started her DJ journey when she signed up for a slot at her college radio station. Through her show, “Feel Good Friday with DJ Shay-B” she was able to bring throwback hip-hop and R&B to her East Coast campus, and connect with family back home via airway. Outside of DJing, Shayla works as a barista, high school basketball coach, and is a small business owner.  Her diverse roles reflect her passion and dedication both in and out of the music scene.
