John Coleman

John is a Colorado native and devoted family man who has had a love for music his entire life. He started DJing in 2000, then spent 4 years in the Army, and went into the automotive industry as a manager and service advisor. He excelled in customer service and won many awards over the years. He has been in and around the music and event industry throughout his life, including event production, stage setup, and DJing over the years. When John is not DJing he is running his woodworking business. He enjoys family camping trips, playing video games with his son, coaching his daughter’s soccer team, and the elusive date night with his wonderful wife of 16 years.

My Elite DJ did an amazing job planning for and performing at our wedding. Our DJ, John, went above and beyond to ensure our day was as smooth and special as possible. Besides playing great music tailored to our themes and requests, he worked with us and the other vendors to ensure our wedding flowed seamlessly. As an example, he spoke with our first time officiant before the ceremony and helped him get set up and feel comfortable with everything.
